Solo Tester

Solo Doesn't always mean Alone 

Make it different  by using the Synonym of Alone

Independent Single-Handed on one’s Own

Basically I see it as an Advantage in every Possible Way I'm independent I'm on my Own.

I Can Make huge difference of How I really want to Test a Product or Software 

I can Write and Perform Testing the Best way rather than depending on any senior or a Lead.

Here is Constant Learning as your on your Own you learn many new things everyday 

Challenge 

Struggling  alone

At a certain Point you have a issue but not sure with whom you can share or you need a break through but as you alone it like even though you have solution in font we cannot see it as that happens majority of the time 

No one to understand us

As a Solo tester there is no one who can totally relate to you or understand the Approach of your Testing or sometimes you are not sure how to ask a question.how to Explain a certain situation which would be way too easy to explain to fellow Tester than to a Dev team to a Product Owner 

Always Feeling left out 

When having Meetings it makes us feel Left out as there are many Dev who work together but as a Solo tester it becomes Challenging,Especially when we have Planning sessions where we need to Story point Dev can story point and they discuss and change but it's quite challenging to story point.

Ways to Work it out 

Try to have a conversation for the smallest Doubt 

Discuss even the Tiniest bit even though if you have slight Doubt share with with team discuss and start working Do not Assume and start working on any Task assigned to you

Basic like which environment shall we work on? Check if we have all the details which are required to start the work on.

Take feedbacks 

As soon as you Finish your work ask for the feedback try to always ask Suggestions which you would help in learning and always try to improve and work on the negative feedback and recheck and see if you have improved on the previous given feedback 

Always try to collaborate 

As a Solo Tester Do not Think your Solo always thinks you're in a Team we do not work individually as a Teamwork we all Collaborate and work. Better team work Better Outcome.Try to be a part of all the required team meetings talk share and discuss with the team
